Best of: Dinner Spots

Founding Farmers (Pennsylvania Ave & Potomac, MD) Everything on the menu is local, right down to the juices for the drinks. The bacon lollis are a must-try!

Zaytinya (Chinatown) Turkish, Greek & Lebanese small plates from my favorite DC chef, Jose Andres

Famoso (Chevy Chase) Authentic, homey Italian in a chic, modern setting.

Ripple (Cleveland Park) Another 'local ingredient focused' restaurant with the cutest interior.

Boqueria (Dupont Circle) "Inspired by the best tapas bars in Barcelona." If you like lamb, try the Pintxos Morunos.

Bodega
(Georgetown) Spanish tapas in lounge-y, dark, romantic setting. Bonus: they offer flamenco dancing on Thursdays. Try the chicken croquettes and sangria!

Peacock Cafe (Georgetown) Sleek interior, cool artwork, fun vibe, great entrees and a great wine list.

8407 Kitchen Bar (Downtown Silver Spring) The seared scallops with truffle vinaigrette are amazing. Stop by during Wine Lover's Mondays and grab a 1/2 bottle with dinner.

Ristorante Piccolo (Georgetown) Dark and romantic (a violin player makes his rounds and will play for you at your table) with some of the best Italian I've had since being in DC.

Il Canale
(Georgetown) My personal favorite place for pizza in the DMV.

Bibiana
(Downtown) Under the same umbrella company as Rasika and Ardeo Bardeo, so you know it's good! Their granita is a perfect summertime dessert.

La Fourchette
(Adams Morgan) A perfect little French Cafe that has been operating for 30+ years. It's a perfect date-night spot. Try the mussels!

L'Enfant Cafe
(Adams Morgan) Another favorite for French cuisine... an intimate little place with the friendliest staff. Check out their speakeasies!

Graffiato
(Chinatown) Italian small plates, pizza, and Prosecco on tap. Try the chicken with pepperoni sauce!

Mama Ayesha (Adams Morgan)  Authentic Middle Eastern food in the prettiest setting.
